Eddy:Why am I so fat?
Saffy:You eat too much, drink too much & you take no exercise.
Eddy:It's far more likely to be a allergy to something.
The markets in London are on a whole other level. These aren't your typical neighborhood fruit and veg stands. They are much more extravagant and offer some of the best foods and products you'll find.
The markets of all markets. My number one activity to do in London and where I send everyone. Not only will you find loads of stalls selling fresh produce and meats, but there are loads of different food stalls to eat on the spot and pubs and restaurants surrounding it to make it an overall super fun afternoon. My favorite stalls are the cheese stalls (obviously) and the spice mountain stall for all those weird spices you can't find back home. It's most fun on the weekends when it's buzzing from the crowds, but open weedays too. Monday's the close early though and isn't a good time to go as most surrounding spots are closed.
Maltby is a small, but super fun food market similar to our version of a food truck market without the food trucks. It's a bit hard to find, but you won't be dissapointed with the options. It's not a tourist attraction, so won't have to beat crowds. It's open Saturday and Sunday.
You'll feel like you are in My Fair Lady at this flower market with vendors yelling and negotating deals for flowers and plants. It's in a very hip part of town, so after you go here, head to Brick Lane for their Sunday market and have the best Sunday Fun Day.
Super trendy market selling loads of vintage things from clothes to antiques to delicious foods. The close down the street every Sunday but you'll also get to explore alley ways filled with even more vendors and traders.
The quintessential market made world famous by everyone's favorite movie "Notting Hill." Portobello Road gets packed on Saturdays with people strolling through the stalls looking for antiques, clothing, home goods and much more. Don't forget to look for Hugh Grant's blue door to get your photo taken.
A great clothing and knick knack market in East London surrounded by great shops and restaurants. You'll find a variety of local designers and some antique merchants selling all sorts of goodies.
